Well this trail update comes late but as promised. The trail signs are almost all picked up and gates are closed for the most part. This season had its ups and downs. The ups all season long was the incredible quality of the trails all season long. Having our PB100 break down on Presidents Weekend was a down (but only for a day) and Randy Bedard closing a major section of 18 to use us as leverage in his legal battles was a huge down. The best part of this season was only having to trailer my sled on April 15th, otherwise I was able to hit the trails from my yard. Meeting lots of great people on the trail was lots of fun each weekend. My best memory was gearing up on Easter Sunday (after putting the ham in the oven) and heading out in 20 degree weather with bright sunshine and traveling over smooth as glass trails from Center Tower to Kirby Mtn. EX41 into Concord over to Waterford down 18 to home in time for dinner. Great experiences like that have me counting the days to opening day in December. May put one more report in...stay tuned.
